Life is strange and amazing if you think about it. We don’t have a choice when in the beginning or when it ends.
Our lifespan of about 100 years is just a blink compared to the age of the earth. Let’s just go back to the Dinosaur Age.
We survive on the earth for about 200,000 years (0.2 million). That’s where our modern human (Homo sapiens) evolution starts. Dinosaurs survived and roamed around the earth for 150 million years. Then an asteroid impact marks the dinosaur era to end. That was 66 million years ago.
However, makes no mistakes. That tiny 100-year means a lot to us individually.
There is a lot we need to do. We are raised to be educated to survive, get a good job, gain status in our peer, start a family and so on. If there is one missing; we suffer.
The fact is nature doesn’t care. Our bodies don’t care how much money we got in our bank. They simply keep us alive no matter what. Yet, now there are so many unhappy people and loads of suicides. Today, more people commit suicide than are killed by soldiers, terrorists and criminals combined. It is one person every 40 seconds.
So it is getting obvious about making sense of being a human is important to our wellbeing.
